Everyone needs to get away from time to time, and when you do, there’s nothing better than exploring new places than with your adventure-loving pup. If you live in Arizona — often listed among the most dog-friendly states — it’s good to know that there are plenty of hotels that welcome four-legged guests along with their humans.

So whether you have company coming to town or you’re planning a weekend a few cities away, pet parents (and their pups) can find a place to stay. Just make sure to call ahead to confirm fees, rules, and reservations.

1. La Quinta Inn & Suites

4. Hilton Resort & Spa

The Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock allows pets up to 75 pounds for an additional $50 fee. At this upscale hotel, you can golf, sightsee, and relax in the spa. And after all, your pooch deserves a little pampering too, right?

5. Loews Hotel

This beautiful hotel allows you to check in with up to two pets for an additional $50 a night, up to $150. If gorgeous views and high-end accommodations are your thing, this Tucson-based Loews is the perfect place to stay with your pooch.
